I am a PhD candidate at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation at the University of Amsterdam, and I am additionally affiliated with the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behavior at Radboud University in Nijmegen. Originally, I come from a small village in Azerbaijan, and, currently, I live and work in Amsterdam.
I am fascinated by the complexity of language as a cognitive system in our brains, and would like to contribute towards our understanding of its underlying mechanisms. My PhD project research explores the interface between the perceptual system for magnitudes (properties that can be put into scales) and language. I am also interested in predictive language processing and all things open science.
